Level 3 ICU training and assessment :

This is a two day training course aimed at people with level 2 ICU certification or equivalent . Or with prior relative experience. but any one with the required level of skills can be assesed as well on the second day . Rolling is necessary to pass this assesment . The aim of a Level 3 training course is to enable participants to kayak safely off-shore as a member of a group, assist with rescues and to be proficient in the following strokes: forward, reverse and stop. Sweep strokes, draw strokes, sculling for support, brace strokes, stern rudder. As well as this participants will learn various moving water techniques, rescues and rolls and safety on the water.Weather understanding and tidal awareness
