Cork Harbour Festival – Special Event – Under the Bridges Tour

Experience Cork city from a different angle! This kayak tour gives you the chance to see Cork city in a unique way; As you kayak under the bridges, you will hear about local stories and the history of Cork. The city has a fascinating past and was once known as ‘Venice of the North’. 

You will also have the chance of seeing some of the city’s wildlife such as herons, otters and seals. It is a fun way to spend an afternoon and will give a perspective of Cork city that people rarely get to experience. 

This trip is suitable for complete beginners as well as people with previous kayak experience. We use double sea kayaks that are spacious and extremely stable. We go at a slow pace and your guide will be there every step of the way to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. It is recommended to wear comfortable outdoor clothing such as fleece/tracksuit, soft shoes, perhaps a hat. We supply waterproof gear to wear over your own clothes. It’s also recommended to have a bottle of water and sunscreen depending on the weather.
