Join us, Atlantic Sea Kayaking, in Ireland’s south west, on The Wild Atlantic Way, to explore this jewel of Ireland’s coastline by sea kayak. The area stretches from the Old Head of Kinsale and encompasses the tranquil, sheltered bay of Glandore and Castlehaven, embraces Carbery’s Hundred Isles and the Fastnet Rock, and curls around the Mizen Head.

Gliding on the Gulf stream currents, we will introduce you to the very varied marine life in this pristine and beautiful area. We will visit uninhabited islands and beaches, explore sea caves, learn about the magical culinary and beauty properties of seaweed and view the magnificent West Cork coastline from our aqueous perspective.

Our Moonlight-Starlight Experience is an extraordinary trip which begins at sunset and immerses you in the uniquely beautiful experience of darkness on the water. The moon, the stars, the night smells and sounds, and at times astonishing bioluminescence will feed your soul.

You will have many opportunities to sample the best of West Cork’s local artisan produce, West Cork being the good food capital of Ireland.

You can get to see Ireland’s answer to Stonehenge – Drombeg Stone Circle, a Bronze age stone circle which is aligned to the Winter Solstice setting sun. You can wander amongst the stones and commune with the pagan gods.

We use mostly double sea kayaks and our expertly trained guides will share stories of our fascinating heritage and assist and advise on your kayaking technique en route. Our distance and pace will be geared towards your comfort. An average level of fitness is all that is required, as our trips are run at a gentle pace to suit the group.
